Peace, I'm Ebrima Touray

My career involves the intersection of teaching, writing, and programming. These three areas are central to everything I do. It has been a unique and ongoing challenge to bring them together in a cohesive way.

The specific titles and disciplines I work in may change, but my work generally falls under the categories of web development, front-end development, backend development (including building APIs, and interacting with APIs). I also have experience in teaching programming, mentoring and writing.

I kept the copy of the handout because whenever I traveled to new destinations, I refer to it and also use it to settle disputes and set the record straight for drivers and apprentices who escalate the fare.

Here are some of the values I live by.

kindness

You can be the smartest and most skilled developer in the world, but if you're not kind to those with whom you interact, you'll never reach your full potential and you'll always be chasing the next thing to bring you happiness in life. Be kind.

Share Knowledge

One of the quickest way i scaled up in programming is that I do share with others what I know and by doing so it has push me to my way beyond my comfort zone. With teaching, writing and mentoring. Obviously i have come up with materials for my audience and that has leveled me up.

Work with others

"If you want to go fast go alone, but if you want to go far go with others." I enjoy working with others in places i used to worked, learning from and as well as sharing with them. Great things are never build alone.

Stick To It & Keeping It Up

Coding is engineering, but so thus is an art like thing. The more you code, the better you become. By doing I always working on something either with my team or most of the time working on my side-projects. I never underrated been a student at any time. As the stack move very fast, I am always a student. Keep learning!
